In Wilson's own words, every art piece "embarks on a journey, starting with an up-cycled luxury bag, box, silk scarf, or album." The source materials are sourced, deconstructed, and transformed into the canvas for the piece. Wilson designs a bespoke embroidery, hand-digitizes the threadwork, and assembles the final piece using a combination of 30+ different embroidery machines — commercial large-format machines, yarn embroidery machines, laser-cutting embroidery machines — alongside 3D printers and laser cutters. Appliqués, patches, butterflies, florals, and pom-poms are individually stitched out and placed by hand on every piece.
