Verragio, Unlike Any Other

Barry Verragio founded the house in New York City in 1996, and every ring is still handcrafted on Fifth Avenue. Verragio does not sell to the public. Distribution is kept deliberately limited and entrusted only to select boutiques, which is why pricing and purchase come through an authorized retailer rather than the brand directly.

Every Verragio ring is made to order and typically takes four to six weeks. Engagement rings are sold as semi-mounts, meaning the setting arrives with all of its accent diamonds already set and you choose the center stone separately. That is what makes the brand worth seeing in person: the setting is the craft, and it reads completely differently on a hand than it does on a screen.

Rings can be adapted well beyond what appears on the website. You can mix metals within a single ring, change details, and combine elements from more than one design into a piece that exists only once. The Eight Verragio Collections

Verragio uses different accent diamond grades across its collections, which is one of the reasons prices vary so widely between designs that look similar in a photograph. Here is exactly what goes into each.

Metals run across platinum, 14K and 18K white and yellow gold, and 18K and 20K rose gold, and a single ring can combine more than one. Our GIA Graduate Gemologists will show you what these grades actually look like side by side under magnification, which is the only way the difference becomes obvious.

You can see any ring, not just the ones in our case. No store stocks the entire Verragio catalogue, and Verragio does not publish every style on its own site. Tell us what you want and we will bring in a sample. Verragio is in New York City, so pieces usually arrive within a day or two, and our Verragio representative is based on Long Island and can bring styles in directly.

Your warranty stays intact. Verragio's limited lifetime warranty covers defects and normal wear such as stone tightening and rhodium refinishing. It is void if your center diamond is set by a jeweler who is not an authorized Verragio retailer. Every ring carries the Verragio trademark and a unique six-digit serial number inside the band, so coverage can be verified at any time. We set your center stone and coordinate any service that needs to go back to Verragio, which keeps that coverage in force. The warranty does not extend to loss, theft, or damage to the center stone, so we will also talk you through insuring it.

Fit-Right Sizing at SVS

Verragio rings are made to your finger size, so sizing is built in from the start. Fingers change, though, and a Verragio setting is not a ring you want cut and reshaped. That is the problem Fit-Right solves, and SVS is authorized to perform it.

Fit-Right is Verragio's own sizing system. It bonds to the inside of the ring and adjusts the internal circumference down by half a size to a size and a half, without cutting, reshaping, or altering the original design. It is adjustable, re-adjustable, and removable. The smooth half-round surface is comfortable and effectively invisible once the ring is on, and it stops a ring from spinning or sliding while still letting it pass over an enlarged knuckle.

Where Long Island Shops Verragio

Our showroom sits on Long Beach Road in Oceanside, and most of the couples who buy Verragio here come from the South Shore: Oceanside, Island Park, East Rockaway, Long Beach, Rockville Centre, Baldwin, Freeport, Lynbrook, Merrick, Wantagh, and Massapequa. Many are ten or fifteen minutes away.

A large share travel considerably further. We have sold Verragio into dozens of Suffolk County communities, from Lindenhurst and Copiague through Brentwood, Commack, Kings Park, and out to Mastic Beach and Shoreham, and across Queens from South Ozone Park and Ozone Park to Bayside, Fresh Meadows, Jamaica, and Far Rockaway. Verragio keeps its distribution deliberately limited, and its own store locator shows no Verragio Boutique in Suffolk County, Queens, or Brooklyn. For most of that map, Oceanside is the closest place to see these rings in person.

We are a straight run down the Southern State or Sunrise Highway, roughly five minutes from Rockville Centre, ten from Long Beach, and about forty-five from Midtown by car or Long Island Rail Road. If you are making the drive, book ahead and tell us what you want to see. We will have it out of the case and ready, and if it is a style we do not stock we will try to have a sample here for your visit. Thursday evenings we are open until 8pm.
