Our Jewelry Repair Studio
Most repairs happen behind a closed door. Ours happen at an open bench — visible through the glass window we engraved with the words Where The Magic Happens. Pull up one of two seats beside Master Setter Oscar H. or Master Bench Jeweler Jorge T., watch your piece come back to life, and help yourself to a fresh espresso and a homemade cookie. Every repair begins and ends right here in our Oceanside studio.

Step One — Bring It In
Visit our Oceanside showroom at 3323 Long Beach Road. We can't properly diagnose a repair over the phone — we need to see and hold your piece. Walk-ins welcome, no appointment needed for a free estimate. Prefer to schedule? Same-day appointments are available.
Step Two — Free Consultation
Our GIA Graduate Gemologist examines your piece under the microscope, photographs it, and gives you a detailed written estimate on the spot. We never begin work without your approval — no surprises, ever. All estimates are free.
Step Three — Pull Up a Seat
Pull up a seat at the open bench while Master Setter Oscar H. or Master Bench Jeweler Jorge T. works on your piece — or drop it off and we'll call you when it's ready. Either way, you're updated every step of the way.
Step Four — Pick Up & Cookies
When your piece is ready, we call and text you. Come in to review the repair with us — and don't leave without one of our famous fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies. That's the SVS experience.

Our Oceanside showroom is open six days a week with walk-in repair consultations always welcome and same-day appointments available.

What We Repair
Every Piece, Every Metal, Every Era
Rings. Resizing up or down, full and half shank replacement, prong retipping and rebuilding, stone setting and tightening, reshaping a bent band, soldering two rings together, and rhodium plating to bring white gold back to white. Engagement rings and wedding bands are the ones we see most, and the ones we treat most carefully.
Chains, necklaces and bracelets. Broken chain soldering on rope, cable, box, figaro and franco, clasp replacement, jump rings, broken hinges, charm reattachment, and tennis bracelet repair where a single link or stone has gone. Finished so the repair does not show.
Earrings. Post and back replacement, converting clips to posts, broken leverback hinges, and stone replacement on studs and huggies.
Silver and everyday pieces too. We are a fine jewelry store, but we do not turn away sterling silver, costume pieces with sentimental value, or the bracelet your daughter wore every day for a year. If it can be fixed, we will tell you what it takes and what it costs before we touch it.

The Rest of What We Do In-House
The same bench handles watch repair, with batteries while you wait. We also offer pearl restringing and knotting, same-day engraving, insurance appraisals from our AGS Accredited Gem Lab on site, free jewelry cleaning for anyone who walks in, and jewelry redesign and remounting when a piece has gone past repairing.
