The 12” size begins with a single luxury bag or box—preserved as its own intimate canvas, where every logo, crease, and texture becomes part of the story. The surface becomes a tapestry of fashion history—fragmented, reconstructed, and elevated into art. At the center, the heart is built like a sculptural object. More than 10 layers of silk scarves and silk fabric are stacked, shaped, and embroidered into a dimensional form that feels both soft and powerful. Over 100,000 stitches of thread carve through the layers, adding depth, movement, and a sense of intensity—like a pulse captured mid-beat. The embroidery is not just detail, it’s a signature: a labor-intensive mark-making that echoes the bold immediacy of graffiti, translated into couture materials.
Dimensions: 12” x 12” x 2”
Each piece is framed and mounted in acrylic. Each is unique and signed and numbered on the back. Framed size is 12” wide by 12” high.

He takes the scraps and restores them to their once luxurious status by making them into art. Most of the patterns in the collage are based on vintage quilt patterns. Everything is embroidered and once it comes off the machine, it is meticulously hand trimmed. Every piece is full of amazing intricate detail.
