When is the Fall Bridal & Diamond Show?

October 8 through 24, 2026 at SVS Fine Jewelry, 3323 Long Beach Road in Oceanside. We are open Monday through Saturday 10am to 6pm, Thursday until 8pm, and closed Sunday.

Do I need an appointment?

No, walk-ins are welcome any day of the event. An appointment is worth booking anyway: we pull stones and settings in your size and style before you arrive, and one associate stays with you for the full hour rather than working the floor. October Saturdays fill first.

What is on sale during the event?

Engagement rings and wedding bands are up to 20% off in the showroom, October 8 through 24, and Forever Custom designs are 15% off. Event pricing is in-store only and is not reflected on this website.

Are loose diamonds included in the sale?

Loose diamonds are priced as they always are. The savings apply to the setting. What changes during the event is selection: this is the largest group of natural and lab grown loose stones we bring in all year, including oval, elongated cushion and radiant cuts in a range of sizes you will not find in the case in February.

Is financing available?

No Interest if Paid in Full within 12 Months*. Interest will be charged to your account from the purchase date if the purchase balance is not paid in full within the promotional period. *The American Gem Society credit card is issued by Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. Special terms apply to qualifying purchases charged with approved credit. Minimum monthly payments are required during the promotional (special terms) period. However, paying only the minimum monthly payment will not pay off the purchase balance before the end of the promotional period. If the purchase balance is not paid in full within the promotional period, interest will be charged to your account from the purchase date at the APR for Purchases. Can I put a ring on layaway?

Yes. SVS layaway starts at 50% down, with up to five more months to pay the balance, no interest, no fees and no credit check. Event pricing is locked in at the time you start it. Layaway is available on qualifying in-stock items; ask us about custom and special orders.

How do I book a designer trunk show?

Use the same Fall Bridal appointment link and choose the designers you want to see. The A.JAFFE trunk show is October 8 to 10, the Gabriel & Co. trunk show October 15 to 17, and the Verragio trunk show October 22 to 24. During those weekends the designer brings settings we do not keep in the case and offers special trunk show pricing. Sylvie is in the showroom for all three weeks.

Can I trade in or sell a diamond I already own?

We buy natural diamonds, loose or in settings, in any size, shape or quality. We do not purchase lab grown diamonds, because the resale market for them is very limited, though we will always evaluate the metal and setting for value. Bring it in during the event and we will look at it while you are here.

Q: What is the difference between natural and lab grown for the long term?

Both are diamonds and share the same chemical, physical and optical properties. The difference that matters later is our Lifetime Diamond Upgrade Program: trade your natural diamond center stone toward a larger or higher quality natural diamond for as long as you own it. The program applies to natural center stones only, not to lab grown diamonds and not to the setting.

Q: Why buy here instead of online?

Rings are sized the same day in our Oceanside workshop rather than shipped out for two weeks. Jorge has been at our bench more than twenty years and Oscar has been setting stones by hand more than twenty five, and you are welcome to watch them work. We have GIA Graduate Gemologists on staff, an AGS Certified Gemologist Appraiser and an AGS Accredited Gem Lab in the building. Every engagement ring carries our Lifetime Warranty, honored across the Preferred Jewelers International network, and SVS is the only member on Long Island. And you get to see the stone before you buy it, which is the part a photograph and a grading report cannot do.
