The Deco Sport Chronograph is the most casual thing MICHELE makes on the Deco platform. Same rectangular case geometry that defined the brand, stripped of diamonds and mother-of-pearl and rebuilt around a silver sunray dial with lum-filled stick indexes — legible in low light, which most of the MICHELE line is not. The case runs 34mm across and 36mm tall in brushed stainless steel, on a black silicone band.
At $545 it's the entry point to the collection, and the specification reflects that honestly: K1 mineral crystal rather than the sapphire used on the Deco Park and Madison, and a quartz chronograph movement driving the subdials. K1 is considerably tougher than acrylic and takes daily wear well. It will scratch where sapphire wouldn't.
This is the watch to own if you already have a dress MICHELE and want something for the gym, the beach, or a Saturday. It's also the one MICHELE we can most readily change the character of, because the band is 18mm — a size we stock in black, white, and chocolate brown croco-embossed leather at $100. Swap the silicone for leather and the same watch reads business casual. Any 18mm MICHELE band fits, no tools needed.
