One week every August, we mark down half the showroom — engagement rings, wedding bands, earrings, necklaces, bracelets and watches, from $15 to over $30,000. It is the largest event of our year, and it has been for two decades.
Most of it never reaches this website. Estate jewelry cannot be restocked, reordered or duplicated — each piece exists once, in one size, and most sell before we can photograph them. What goes online is what we had time to shoot.

There is exactly one of each piece, and most of the sale never reaches this website — estate pieces, single sizes, and SVS exclusives that sell before we can photograph them.
What Goes On Sale

Each year we choose six brands and mark them down across the entire collection — every piece, every style, no exceptions. The lineup changes from year to year depending on what is on the floor. Past years have included ALOR, Dee Berkley, Forevermark, Simon G., Desmos and Roman & Jules.
Our entire estate jewelry collection goes into the sale every year, available in the Oceanside showroom only, alongside one-of-a-kind SVS exclusive designs made for our floor. Beyond the full-brand markdowns we pull select pieces from across the showroom — Gabriel & Co., Noam Carver, Sylvie, Lafonn, Melinda Maria, Monte Luna, Shy Creation, Italgem, MICHELE, G-SHOCK, Stephen Wilson Art and Secrid have all appeared in past years.

- All sale items are final sale. No returns, no exchanges.
- No rainchecks and no special orders. What’s on the tray is what’s available.
- No lay-away on sale merchandise during the event.
- Sizing and alterations are not included. Pieces are sold as-is in the size shown. Sizing, alterations and engraving are available at standard charge, quoted by our in-house bench before any work begins.
Half Off Half The Store is the largest event of the year at SVS Fine Jewelry, Long Island’s premier jewelry store, locally owned in Oceanside since 2003. Shoppers travel to us from Rockville Centre, Lynbrook, Long Beach, Island Park, Merrick, Baldwin, Garden City and across Nassau County for a sale that comes once a year. In between, our specials section runs year-round, and the showroom is open six days a week.
