Earrings are where lab grown makes the most obvious sense: at the same spend you wear a noticeably larger stone, and unlike an engagement ring, nobody is going to ask about the origin of your studs.

Choosing a Size
How Big Should Studs Be?
Stud earrings are sold by total carat weight across the pair, so a 1ctw pair is roughly half a carat per ear. That catches people out. A 1ctw pair reads as an everyday earring you forget you are wearing. A 4ctw pair is unmistakably jewelry. Above that you are into the sizes people notice from across a room, and we carry those too.
There is no correct answer, but there is a reliable way to find yours: try both on. Carat weight on a screen tells you almost nothing about how a stud sits on your ear, and ear size and skin tone change the read more than people expect. Come in and hold them up.
Honest About Grading
What Comes With a Pair of Studs
Most stud earrings, natural or lab grown, are not sold with individual grading reports on each stone. That is normal across the industry and not something to be talked out of. What you judge instead is whether the two stones match each other in colour and cut, how securely they sit, and whether the backs hold. Bring a pair to the counter and we will show you what to look at, which takes about a minute.
