Where a traditional round brilliant has 58 facets, Passion8 adds 31 more. The extra facets are cut to a precision that produces an eight-petal pattern through the crown and eight hearts through the pavilion, visible under a viewer. The practical effect is more return of light from more angles as the hand moves.
The 0.33 carat Passion8 center sits above a shank set with 32 round accent diamonds, G to H color, adding 0.19 carats. Total weight is 0.52 carats in 14K white gold.
Currently finished in size 6 and ready to propose with. If she wears a different size, we resize it the same day at our Oceanside workshop by Jorge T., our Master Bench Jeweler, and Oscar H., our Master Setter.
