A round brilliant diamond in the Forevermark Icon setting, platinum, with twenty pavé diamonds running down the shank. It is the fullest version of the Icon design.
The comfort-fitted band arches up into the basket to form the Icon silhouette beneath the stone. You notice it from the side rather than the top, and it is what separates an Icon ring from every other pavé solitaire on a tray. The pavé does the rest of the work: twenty small stones along the shank put light across the whole finger instead of concentrating it at the center.
The center stone is a 0.71 carat natural round brilliant with a Forevermark Excellent cut grade, Excellent polish and Excellent symmetry, SI1 clarity and negligible fluorescence. It carries the Forevermark inscription 92138025, invisible to the eye, and Forevermark grading report 030002231196. Triple Excellent is the top finish grade combination available, and cut is the grade that does the most work in a round diamond. Twenty round accent diamonds add 0.42 carats in G to H color, for 1.13 carats total. That is a substantial amount of diamond for a ring that still reads as a solitaire.
The mounting is platinum. Platinum holds its color for life rather than needing to be re-plated the way white gold does.
Forevermark has wound down in the United States, so this is from the last of our stock. When these are gone, we will not be getting more.
