A 0.80 carat round Forevermark diamond, set here in our own workshop on a pavé shank in 14K white gold.
The center measures 5.85 to 5.87 millimeters across, which is the spread you want to see at this weight — a sign the stone was cut for proportion rather than to hold carat weight in depth where it does not show. It carries Very Good grades for both cut and polish. Cut is the grade that determines how a diamond actually behaves in light, and it is the one most listings leave out.
The stone is SI2 clarity, inscribed with Forevermark number FM-7957327. The inscription is invisible to the eye and ties the stone to its record, and it can still be registered in your name. Round accent diamonds add 0.41 carats down the shank, for 1.21 carats total.
This ring was assembled at our Oceanside bench — the stone chosen and set here rather than ordered finished from a catalog.
Forevermark has wound down in the United States, so this is from the last of our stock. When these are gone, we will not be getting more.
Currently in size 6.5 and ready to propose with. If she wears a different size, we resize it the same day at our Oceanside workshop by Jorge T., our Master Bench Jeweler, and Oscar H., our Master Setter.
