A 0.70 carat oval Forevermark diamond on a plain platinum band — the shape most asked for after round, in the setting that shows it with nothing competing for attention.
An oval covers more of the finger than a round of the same weight, so it reads larger without costing more, and the elongation flatters the hand. It is also the shape where cut matters most: an oval cut too deep shows a dark band across the center, which is why this one is worth looking at under light rather than in a photograph. The unbroken platinum band keeps the eye on the stone.
The center is SI1 clarity, inscribed with Forevermark number FM-19351320. The inscription is invisible to the eye and ties the stone to its record, and it can still be registered in your name.
The slim platinum band arches up into the basket so the stone sits low and close to the hand, and the clean shank means a wedding band sits flush against it without a gap. Platinum holds its color for life rather than needing to be re-plated the way white gold does.
