An oval Forevermark diamond in the Delicate Icon setting, with pavé diamonds carried down the shank. It is the fullest version of the design and the one with the most light in it.
Oval cuts read longer on the finger than their carat weight suggests, which elongates the hand. Pair that with a pavé band and the light runs the whole length of the ring rather than stopping at the center. If she has been looking at rounds and finding them a little expected, this is usually the ring that changes her mind.
The center stone is a 0.70 carat natural oval, SI1 clarity, carrying a Forevermark inscription, number FM-20297722, invisible to the eye and tied to the stone's record. Twelve round accent diamonds add 0.12 carats along the shank, for 0.82 carats total.
The slim platinum band arches up into the basket so the stone sits low and close to the hand. Platinum holds its color for life rather than needing to be re-plated the way white gold does.
Forevermark has wound down in the United States, so this is from the last of our stock. When these are gone, we will not be getting more.
