A.JAFFE has been making engagement rings in New York since 1892 — one of the oldest continuously operating bridal houses in America, and still designing in the city where it started. The house is known for two things in particular: the Signature Shank®, a distinctive profile you can identify from the side of the ring, and the Quilts® interior, a hand-finished detail on the inside of the shank that only the wearer ever sees.

That second one tells you most of what you need to know about the brand. Finishing the part of a ring nobody looks at is either pointless or the entire point, depending on how you think about jewelry.
