SVS Fine Jewelry in Oceanside was recently awarded the prestigious title of Master IJO Jeweler Certified Gem Lab by the Independent Jewelers Organization (IJO). “The requirements to be designated as a Certified Gem Lab through IJO are the most rigorous in the industry,” says store owner Sami Saatchi. “Their guidelines for this program involve not only the study of gemology with the Gemological Institute of America, but also to own and have the ability to utilize specific gemological equipment in-house.”
