The Deco Park is the architectural piece in the collection — a 23mm rectangular case in 18K gold plate over stainless steel, with a dark cherry mother-of-pearl dial and applied Roman numerals in gold. Where the rest of the range sets stones around the bezel, this one relies entirely on proportion and the depth of the dial.
Dark cherry mother-of-pearl is unusual. It holds red where the light hits directly and goes almost black at an angle, so the watch changes through the day in a way a flat lacquer dial never does.
Swiss quartz two-hand movement under sapphire crystal. Two hands rather than three — no seconds hand, so nothing interrupts the dial. 5 ATM water resistance. Butterfly deployant clasp, bracelet inner circumference 175mm ±5mm.
If you've been looking at the diamond-set pieces and finding them busier than you want, this is the one to try. It reads as a piece of design rather than a piece of jewelry.
The bracelet is 14mm, made specifically for the Deco Park collection and interchangeable with any 14mm MICHELE band. That's its own width — narrower than the 16mm and 18mm bands we stock.
MICHELE recommends cleaning with a soft cloth and water only, and having the watch serviced every 18 to 24 months. Both are handled in house by our watchmaker.
