Sami V. Saatchi is a tenth-generation jeweler — a heritage that traces back through ten generations of jewelers, each passing down craft, judgment, and an eye for what makes a piece worth carrying. As a GIA Graduate Gemologist and the founder of SVS Fine Jewelry, Sami has spent his career evaluating gemstones, jewelry, and timepieces at every level of the trade. Pre-owned Rolex sits at the intersection of two disciplines he knows deeply: precious metals and precision watchmaking.
Every pre-owned Rolex that joins the SVS showroom does so only after Sami has examined it personally — case condition, dial originality, movement integrity, bracelet wear, and the small details that separate a great example from a mediocre one. For some pieces, Sami draws on a network of trusted industry sources he's built over decades. For others, his own examination is sufficient. The standard is the same either way: would Sami buy this watch for his own collection? If the answer isn't yes, it doesn't enter the showroom.
That standard is why our pre-owned Rolex inventory stays small. We are not trying to be the biggest pre-owned watch dealer on Long Island — we are trying to be the most carefully curated. Many of our pre-owned Rolex buyers are repeat clients who first walked into SVS for an engagement ring or anniversary piece, came back for a watch, and now check in periodically to see what's new in the case.

Our In-House Watchmaker Tony T. handles routine pre-owned Rolex service at our Oceanside workshop — bracelet sizing and link adjustment, polishing and refinishing, crystal cleaning, gasket inspection, and general maintenance. Whether you bought your Rolex at SVS or somewhere else, we are happy to perform routine work on premises.
For full mechanical service, movement overhaul, replacement parts, and any work requiring genuine Rolex components, we coordinate referrals to specialized Rolex service providers. This protects your watch, ensures the right parts are used, and keeps the work within the appropriate technical expertise. We never attempt repairs that would compromise the integrity of the piece.
Pre-owned Rolex watches purchased from SVS do not come with the original Rolex factory warranty (manufacturer warranties do not transfer to second-hand purchases). For peace of mind on every purchase, we welcome you to ask about our in-house return inspection period and any service work we've recently completed on the watch. Why aren't more pre-owned Rolex watches shown online?
Pre-owned Rolex is a fast-moving inventory category for us. Many of the watches we acquire are sold to existing clients or local collectors the same day they come in — before our team has the chance to photograph and list them online. As a result, what appears on this page is only a small portion of what's actually in our showroom at any given time. Do pre-owned Rolex watches from SVS come with the Rolex warranty?
No. Rolex's factory warranty does not transfer to second-hand purchases under any circumstance — this applies to pre-owned Rolex sold by any retailer, including SVS. If a watch is recent enough to still be within its original warranty period, the warranty card may still be valid for a limited time, but it cannot be re-issued.
