From Montreal to Long Island Fingers

CrownRing was founded in Montreal in 1999 by longtime friends Thierry Bellisha and Haimy Mann, with an idea that turned out to be unusually durable: that wedding rings should celebrate one of the most important commitments a person ever makes — and that the bands marking that moment deserved to be designed with the same care as the moment itself. They built their first collection on the premise that no two couples wear their wedding the same way, which is why CrownRing's catalog has always spanned every metal, every silhouette, and every level of detail.

CrownRing is also one of the more genuinely innovative brands in the wedding band world. In its early years, the company became the first manufacturer in the world to produce a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating for cobalt wedding bands — a process that prevents cracking, chipping, and color fading on a metal previously considered too fragile for daily wear. CrownRing followed that with one of Canada's earliest titanium wedding ring collections, then with the architectural Bleu Royale designer line, and most recently with MFit, a patented comfort-interior technology that minimizes pressure points and lets the skin breathe.
